FYI: the Hackett for Congress people will be posting announcements here with their account.

To be fair, I did offer the same thing to the Schmidt people, but haven’t heard back. (Between you and me, I don’t think that Jean Schmidt likes me. If looks could kill your humble editor would be a dead man blogging.)

My hosting provider and WordPress aren’t getting along too good right now, so I had to change some setup things in ways that break old permanent links. I’m betting that they are dealing with some vulnerabilities that have been discovered in php.

Sorry about the hastle. Hope to get it back to the old settings soon.

There’s a rising wave of American’s tired of the same old responses from our leaders in Washington. If you are looking for action you couldn’t have come to a better place than Ohio’s 2nd. Welcome to the front lines.

I’m off to Cleveland for the Election Investigation / Reform Teach-In and Public Hearing. Let’s see if the Republicans can play nice for a few days until I get back. I’d hate to miss it.

As things heat up the quality of the comments is dwindling fast. Time to tighten the noose. HA HA!!! What a beautiful tyrant I am astride my two bit utopia! Maybe Bush is onto something with this whole neo-facism thing ;-)

I’m going to also delete the comments that are anonymous and seem questionable to me. Cross over, children. All are welcome. All welcome, go into the light…

If you’re going to level the attack, at least do so publicly.

Know of any up and coming events related to the special election? Please make a post about them here. We’re working on getting our calendar up and running in the next few days.

Welcome to the Ohio 2nd Congressional Blog. It was created by Chris Baker as a way to provide a resource of information about issues related to the 2nd Congressional District.

The goal in setting up blogs such as Oh02.com is to provide a community portal focused on bringing progressive energies to Congress. The Presidential races have become lightening rods drawing energy away from those most vulnerable: Congressmen. By having a permanent blog devoted to each Ohio district we will have a common body of knowledge that grows no matter what candidate is running for office.

We are always looking for people to contribute to the site, so send us an email if you are interested.

For more information, check out the districts Wikipedia entry.
