For the few who don’t know, I’ve moved back to the Philadelphia area. My husband had a job offer that was way too good to refuse so here we are. Moving is not for the weak. I am finally getting my head above the boxes and packing paper and can actually remember where I put things.
I was thrilled when we moved to Ohio and sad when we moved back here. I sometimes think that native Cincinnatians don’t fully appreciate where they live (Philadelphians are the same, they don’t always appreciate their city). I’ve lived in a lot of places and I can say the quality of every day life is great in Cincinnati. Ok, the pizza is so much better in Philadelphia but the traffic is a nightmare.
I just wanted to say that I had am glad I had an opportunity to live in SW Ohio. I enjoyed my time there and met so many wonderful people. If it’s ok with Mr. Editor, I’ll post from time to time.
Karen

Karen,
You are a true asset to the Democratic Party of Southern Ohio. (“Democratic Party of Southern Ohio”… kinda has a nice ring to it…)
You will be missed.
I grew up in Pennsylvania on the other side of the state right in the middle of Jack Murtha’s Congressional District. There are good people everywhere. I hope that you will continue your message of hope everywhere you go. Godspeed to you and your husband.

Karen,
Thank you for your efforts for all of us in your run for the state house in 2006. You helped narrow the gap in one of the most red districts in the state and hopefully someone will pick up the banner and continue to run with it in 2008.
Paul
Thanks, Paul & Jim. I will continue to work for Democrats here. I am looking forward to 2008. I had a great time last year. It’s a well kept secret that campaigning actually a lot of fun. We need to shout out that message to encourage qualified people to run. You meet so many wonderful people on the campaign trail whether running yourself or volunteering for candidates.
Karen,
You will be missed.
Go kick some butt in Philly.
They’ll be lucky to have you.
Peace for you, Peace for me,
PEACE FOR ALL. 7-07-07
Hey! Good to hear from you.
That will teach me to not look at my own blog for a week.
Karen, you’re always more than welcome to offer your perspective on things here.
Thanks. I think I check this blog more than you do. Thanks for letting me have a forum. When government and politics gets surreal, I like to have a place to write about reality.
