Everyone is invited to the Warren County Democratic Party’s Ideas on the March Party. Join us Saturday, March 31, 5-9 pm, at the Idea House, Villages at Riversbend, South Lebanon. Great food, cash bar, entertainment and great company (and yes, there are TVs to watch basketball), suggested donation $25/person.
After the whirlwind of the 2004 elections, the special election in the 2nd and then the 2006 elections, we deserve to celebrate our success. Rumor has it that a lot of the 2006 candidates will be there too. The Idea House is a 5000 sq. ft. model home beautifully decorated in a lovely setting. I71 to south Rt. 48. Turn left at the light at Dwire Rd. across from Riversbend Golf course and at the sales office for the Villages at Riversbend. Immediate left on Lebanon Rd. and then a right on Zoar Rd. and follow signs to the Idea House. 2006 Campaign signs will be out to guide the way (old signs can be recycled and put to good use- at least we picked up our signs). We just request that you RSVP to the WCDP by phone or email. Heaven forbid we don’t have enough food or drink. I hope to see everyone there and please bring a few friends. You don’t have to live in Warren County to party with Warren County Democrats.

SO when is the Democratic party in Warren County going to get moving to deliver a defeat to the LB herself?

I can’t speak for every Dem in Warren Co. but from what I experienced in the campaigns in 2006, the members of the WCDP are very committed to getting Dems elected. The number of volunteers increased substantially and all their hard work showed in the results. We won 36 precincts more. It’s a building process and the county parties in the area gained a lot of practical experience. Now we have a little time to get organized for 2008 and we have a much better and bigger foundation. Like Rome, the WCDP (and the surrounding counties) aren’t going to be built in a day. But we showed significant gains. Will you be joining us?

At this point I may just join the Democratic Party. I am disgusted by the Republicans; They have lost touch with the middle class of this country. The Dems TALK a good story, but have yet to totally prove themselves. The next few months will be the tell….if they do what they say and work in a BI PARTISAN fashion to further the middle class agenda, then perhaps I will join the ranks.
However, it may be a touch sell, as I live in Clermont county not Warren. So we shall see.

We’d love to have you. I also think we are more fun to hang with. I’ve met a few of the Clermont Dems as well as the Hamilton Dems and they are great people. We had a lot of fun campaigning in the last election. Invite your friends, we’ll have great food and drink, some fun and there are big TVs to watch the game if you are so inclined. We’ll probably have entertainment too if I can talk one of our songstresses into singing and playing her guitar. The house is a beautifully decorated model home (5000 s.f. in a new development) and it’s great for entertaining. I’d love to meet you and maybe Mr. & Mrs. Editor will join us too. You never know who will show up at our events but they’re always a lot of fun.
