Estimates of 25 percent of registered voters will be out Tuesday?

What gives? This is absolutely hideous!!! Men and women in our armed forces have fought and died to give us the basic freedoms we have today, one being the right to vote for the candidate of our choice, whom we feel will represent us best as our public servants.
It is absolutely unacceptable for this percentage to be so low! I put the challenge to anyone who reads this blog and does not vote; GO VOTE TUESDAY. Exercise that right that many have fought and died for. Choose the candidate who will do the right things for us. And for those who will say “my vote really does not mean anything” I saw BULL! Every vote counts.
Enough said…

I agree with you. I used to be one of those, “my vote doesn’t matter” guys. I was wrong.
Even if it’s a one levy issue special election in the middle of February – GO OUT AND VOTE dammit!
Scott,
THanks!
I have had so many folks tell me they don’t register because they don’t want to do jury duty! How rediculous.
On Wednesday, I had the priviledge of attending a candidate forum in Waverley OH at a retirement community. I had a very nice discussion with one of the residents there…she NEVER had registered a party when she voted…she always voted the issues only…having heard the candidates debate that day, she was going to register as a Republican for the first time in her voting career and vote for a candidate. Even that vote can make a difference. She sees it now.
So I continue my challenge….Scott I appricate your comments….and pass the word. Maybe we can get this percentage up!
Over 30% turnout.
