with this post. I had just been drafting another long editorial, when I paused to do a quick review of some of my favorite blogs and found Mr. Vessels had already said what I wanted to better than I could.
The Cliff Notes Version (with added links):
1) Administration says Iran is a threat to our safety and will soon have nuclear weapons. Just like they did with a certain other country.
2) Administration threatens to nuke Iran.
3) Opposition party sits by and DOES NOTHING to stop Administration… or worse helps out.
Sigh…. At least we’ve still got the guys in the big black hats speaking out. Of course, they’re now being watched and are on the list as of potentially violent terrorist organizations.

I was very happy to see the minority leader stepping up on this.
Alas, peace is a short lived lesson that humans only learn in blood, and we have not bathed long enough or deep enough yet. By my watch the clattering train is right on schedule.

Guess I owe the good Sen. an apology. Or, better, some kind of mention that some dems are speaking out. The question is, when it comes time to vote, will the party have learned the lessons from OIF?
