Just got back from the event. It was actually over a few hours ago, but the local bar was serving beer tonight, so I stopped for suds.

ONE THING IS KILLING ME: How in the WORLD can DR. . . . yes DOCTOR . . . D-O-C-T-O-R VIC WULSIN not have a Healthcare answer?!?!!?

If you are a DOCTOR and you are running for CONGRESS – you need to have a Healthcare answer. I don’t know what she said tonight, and neither did anyone else. INSANE! Her credibility is shot. She is no longer a viable candidate.

But you know who DID have a good Healthcare answer? Jim Parker. He had facts, solutions, figures. He had 3 parts . . . but of course he rattled them off so fast that I can’t remember any of them. If we elect Jim, as fast as he moves, he would only have to be Congressman for 1 year and he will do a years worth of work!.

I will tell you what, I think everyone else tonight saw what I have seen for some time: Get Jim a decent campaign manager and $500,000 and he could be a real candidate. Jim of course did a great job of staying on his message: HEALTHCARE, and used personal stories and ‘the jar’. No magic beans. BUT I am personally disappointed that he did not tell me anything about the number 15 – as he had said he was going to in a previous online post.

Thor Jacobs won tonight. He was prepared, confident, and “looked like a statesman”. One lady even said he was “an intellecutal”. Hold on??? I thought he was a college football player? You can be both? WTF?!!?!? Thor ALSO had a good healthcare answer. Again, he was prepared and ON MESSAGE.

Gabby will be a great State Rep candidate, and Jeff Sinnard was also there.

One thing on Jeff. The ‘Choice’ issue came up. Thor had a good answer, Vic was . .. yeah . . whatever . . . and Gabby is a choice Quaker. Parker kicked ass by saying that he is for life except in the case of the life of the the mother, rape and incest, BUT he was not going to DC to legislate on that issue. Good statement Jim. Best damn thing ANY Pro-Life Democrat could have said with this crowd tonight. But back to Sinnard. Jeff had a sonogram photo of his son. He also had a photo of his son today. He makes a good point. How many mothers have cried when they see the photo of their new baby as a sonogram? Hm. He made me think about it. Exellent example Jeff.

Back to Thor. Good looking guy. Good ideas. Good bio. Attractive wife. He’s a solid Democrat. I hope he wins the primary, and then I hope he raises enough money to kick Lying Jean, or Bouncing Bobs tail back to Republican La-La Land.

Also, who is ‘Dave Altman’? Shut up and sit down already.

And whoever the MC was tonight – can we get THAT guy to run for something! Charming personality. Great MC!

Oh, and Hackett was there too – but he is sooooo last years story.

[...] Photos are up of tonight’s event in Cincinnati. Annotations later. Raw audio is available. Sorry but I haven’t had time to edit it. [...]
