It is so rare we get a glimpse of sheer perfection in politics. How often do we democrats get the opportunity to elect the most competent, experienced, and educated candidate in the history of mankind?? Who, you may ask, am I talking about? SUBODH CHANDRA! Subodh Chandra is the type of candidate you listen to and say ‘Yes, Hire him…give him money!’. He makes me consider knocking on strangers doors just to talk about him. I want to vote for him TODAY. I want everyone I know to hear him and vote for him. I want to vote for him TWICE just because he IS that damn good. I want to camp out in front of my polling place so I can be the first in line to vote for him. (ok so y’all KNOW I only camp at Holiday Inn but you get where I’m going.)

Subodh Chandra is perfect, faultless, exactly what we need right now in Ohio. How many degrees does the man have? He is not interested in any thing else or any other office. He wants this job. He wants to work. Law has been his life. Case Western, Yale with honors, Counsel for the City of Cleveland, federal prosecutor. The man has a long documented paper trail of fighting corruption for anyone and everyone to see. No fear of scrutiny in him. I’m sorry…but a divorce lawyer?????being a freakin divorce lawyer doesn’t count for shit when dealing with the catastrophe that Ohio has been enduring this past decade.

Can you tell I am alittle bit excited? Why?… because I have heard Mr. Chandra speak 3 times now and reading all the reactions from the MTB debate … other people saw what I saw. Subodh Chandra is all about upholding the law and protecting Ohioans. He is not about parties or policy. To him, laws are not democratic or republican. He will do what is right no matter what. His knowledge of the law and his attitude towards enforcing and upholding it has been absent for so long in this state most of us have forgotten what the AG is actually supposed to be about. He talks accomplishing things. He lays his plans down for anyone to see. Open and honest about the process. He wants to and can DO the work..not just hire someone else to do it. He has plans and ideas to help get Ohio back on track. He wants to clean up the corruption in Ohio politics from the right and left. Which is probably why he isn’t the party endorsed candidate….which is EXACTLY why I want to vote for him NOW. Subodh Chandra doesn’t just have potential. He is the one.

Is he too good though? It is really scary how good Subodh Chandra would be as AG. You almost can’t imagine what it would be like to have a confident, competent, fearless AG cleaning house in Ohio. If we vote for someone that good…. Good thing might happen. Some feelings may get hurt. Truths may be exposed. Can we handle the truth? I don’t know. Truth and righteousness can be frightening things when you have forgotten what they look like. Well I want to know. I want to know how the job is supposed to be done. I want to go back to the time when people were held accountable….no matter who they are. I want to see a time when the attorney general acts in the best interest of Ohio…. in spite of Ohio. Subodh Chandra is the man to do it.
