Tom “BizzyBlog” Blumer scored a direct hit against Bob McEwen when the Ohio Elections Commission ruled that the former Congressman violated state law in referring to himself as Congressman while campaigning in the 2nd. McEwen took his slap on the wrist and quickly apologized if anyone was misled.
On Tuesday morning the beltway lobbyist is having a breakfast with one of my few Republican heroes, former Congressman and HUD Secretary Jack Kemp.
Yes, I’ll admit it… I’m a big Jack Kemp fan. We disagree on many things, but he was one of the few people during the 80s from either party that at least seemed to be actively trying to break the status quo through positive innovation. It’s too bad that these days he’s become a typical Republican johhny one note on tax cuts. Way back when he was a real leader.
Former Bengal Anthony Munoz will be MC’ing the event.

I refuse to capitalize on Bob McEwen’s lack of ethics and his Washington lobbyist connections for my own political gain.

I refuse to comment on the above comment. I will not cast dispersions on Mr. Parker’s lack of ideas or agenda. I will write no words whatsoever. I am above that.

How magnanimous of both of you.

Well I am not going to lie and say I am not going to crack up over that comment.

I hope after this next election is over, you guys can all chill out and maybe go to a movie together or something.
May I suggest the upcoming Samuel L Jackson epic, Snakes On A Plane? It’s going to be a classic.

Excellent. It’s like Speed, but on a plane and with snakes.

Eric,
I believe that you work for Jean Schmidt. Has she decided to accept my challenge to publicly discuss my ideas vs. hers on HEALTHCARE, the ECONOMY and the WAR in IRAQ?
Well, I’m off to Clermont County again. (Another 200 mile round trip). Home by midnight. Some of the nicest people you will ever meet live there…
Jim Parker Wants to Talk with Jean Schmidt and Bob McEwen about…

Anthony Munoz is pretty far-right, huh.
