Well, I have to say that I’m not feeling it yet, but Mrs. E pointed out that I was cheating by talking about Paul’s stint on WLW. He’ll be on again today.

So… are you going to change the sidebar photos back or are the puppies here to stay?

I’m really liking the puppies. I’m having a hard time parting with them.

Yeahhh.. we gotta keep the puppies!!! They keep us grounded in what’s really important.
We really should alternate between puppies and kittens to be fair.

Editor,
Could you please sit down with Hackett and have a heart to heart talk with him (don’t record it). He is still really bitter and it is time to heal. I think that you are one of the few people he would listen to.

I’ll second what Drdemocrat said. Listening to Paul on the radio yesterday reminded me of this story:
A young boy was wronged terribly by his friend, and embarrassed in front of his peers. Hurt and angry, he plotted in secret for days to devise a plan to get even. But once he had perfected the truly nasty plan, he had the gnawing feeling that maybe, just maybe, he should get another opinion before proceeding.
So he went to his grandfather. His grandfather must be wise, because he was older than dirt. And he was kind, and a good listener. So even if he wasn’t wise, it was going to be a safe visit.
The boy told his grandfather the whole sordid story, from the awful thing his friend did to the even more awful thing he had devised to do in return.
“And,” asked the grandfather after he had finished, “is your heart set on doing this terrible thing?”
The boy paused at the word “heart.” “Well, grandfather, my head is set on it, but I’m not so sure about my heart. I am torn, I want to do it and yet I don’t want to do it. That’s why I came to ask your advice. I hoped you might understand.”
“Yes,” said the old man, “I think I do understand, for I have had these feelings all of my life. For as long as I can remember, it is as though there were two wolves living inside of me, fighting for control of my soul. One wolf is very kind and loving, and wants me always to do the kind and loving thing. The other wolf is angry and mean, and urges me to be clever and vicious, as you are thinking of being. All my life those wolves have been there, fighting for control of me.”
The old man stopped, just as the boy was wanting him to finish.
“I don’t understand, grandfather. Which wolf wins?”
“Ah,” said the old man, “that’s up to me. The one that wins is the one that I feed.”
I’m afraid this radio hosting stint is like an all-you-can-eat buffet for Paul’s “bad wolf”.

Okay, Editor, I don’t know what makes the text giant in some spots, but could you fix that?

Let Paul be Paul.

“I hate listenting to all those conservative talk radio shows . . . blah blah blah blah . . . wha wha wha.”
Well GUESS WHAT FOLKS we have one of our OWN on THEIR #1 Station in the place where the RIGHT TO LIFE movement STARTED!
I am no ‘political rockstar’ but I would say this is part of the continuing drama of the ‘Ohio Insurgency’.
Let Hackett bag on ‘Sherry’. So what? Brown is gonna lose Cinci bad anyway.
And if Hackett manages to convince a few percent of traditional conservatives or or self proclaimed ‘independants’ that he is willing to bag on ANYONE - I would guess that might gain him some creditablilty when he stand FOR something.

Looking at Brown and Hackett’s polls - does everyone realize that less than 14% of Ohioans even KNOW about all of Senate Hubub? Think about it - walk down the street - 1.5 people out of 10 will know who Paul and/or Sherrod.
I garantee more people than that like pictures of cute kittens and puppies.
I say LEAVE THE CUTE MAMMALS ON OH02.com!

I think that is only true Alan in the short term. Whether or not the Sherry shit gains him any credibility is questionable at any rate. I would ask credibility with who and at what cost?
