[…] UPDATE 3: OH02 links to a Daily Kos post by Pounder. The discussion is, uh, spirited. I think we’ll be waiting a LONG time before Markos weighs in on this. I’ve stopped being surprised at anything, but there are a number of Kos commenters trying to imagine GOP involvement in this. Zheesh. […]
What it is is really sad. Attacking Tim Russo over and over isn’t going to convince people that they should unite behind their preferred candidate. It’s not an argument in FAVOUR; it’s an argument for staying the hell out of this one and not getting involved on any level. The fact that Kos would front-page a personal attack on someone really sabotages his credibility. Coming on top of the understandable disappointment of Hackett’s followers and the failure of the ODP (and Hackett’s opponent’s campaign) to address that in an effective manner, it’s one additional thing that could make the mountain collapse. Kos needs to rethink how he’s going about things if he wants to help his candidate get elected.

“The thread over @ DKos is pretty heated.”
Oh? Isn’t that a bit like saying the fiery pit of hell is pretty heated?
