Bad news for Congresswoman Schmidt. No split to the anti-Schmidt vote.

“It’s more important that we restore integrity and honor to that office than that I become a congressman,’’ Brinkman said in endorsing McEwen Wednesday.

In a press conference at Hamilton County Republican Party headquarters Wednesday morning, Brinkman said he had polling done in the seven-county congressional district which he said showed that either he or McEwen could defeat Schmidt in a head-to-head race, but that Schmidt would win a three-way race.
