Swing State Project’s DavidNYC:
I’m thrilled to let you all know that I’ll be joining the board of a new PAC designed specifically to help veterans get elected as Dems. It’s called Band of Brothers and already has some serious backing from major guys like Sen. Max Cleland (one of my heroes) and Stan Greenberg, a top Democratic pollster and one-time advisor to Bill Clinton.

A quick preview of the Band of Brothers new web site shows no sign of Paul Hackett among its list of candidates. What gives?
I think because the Band of Brothers (which should be called Band of Brothers and Sisters since there is at least one female running) is for the House only Not the Senate. I think it should be expanded to the Senate too especially since it was Hackett’s House “almost win” race that got the ball rolling on Iraq war veterans running for Congress!
You’re right. It does appear that these are House candidates only.
I agree with you Drdem…They should expand the mission to include Senate candidates.
