Channel 9 has the story:
I say shame on you Howard Dean. Shame on you Mr. Dean for telling our troops and our enemies that we cannot win this war. Shame on you for choosing today, the day millions of Iraqis are going to the polls to vote to spread your lies… I continue to support our troops and I’ll match my rhetoric against Mr. Dean’s anyday and let the public decide who really supports our men and women in uniform.
Pssst… don’t tell the Congresswoman that the President said that we can’t win the war on terror. I’d hate to have her lash out at him.

Speaking of spreading lies: we still haven’t resolved if Daddy Bubp or Schmidt was telling the truth about the whole Murtha crack. She sure threw Bubp under the bus on that one.

In defense of the killer, she was probably referring to the war in Iraq, not the Global War on Terror. Likewise, I believe Howard Dean was referring to Iraq when on Wednesday he said, “the idea that we’re going to win the war is an idea that, unfortunately, is just plain wrong.”
Unfortunately.
