Nicely done Paul. I’m sure we’ll cross pathes many times somewhere between Waverly and Portsmouth all the way to Cincinnati… and back and back and back again! Only 6 and 1/2 months until people get to cast their vote for the American Dream.

Are the wheels falling off Brown’s campaign? First the Ohio UAW may endorse Hackett and now Tim Tagaris is leaving GrowOhio.
I think what is hurting Brown right now is his decision to postpone a formal announcement to run for senate until the end of November. Because of his history of “waffling”, I suspect people are now thinking the Brown’s heart may not really be in this fight.
My predictions:
If a poll comes out from now until the time Brown formally announces his candidacy which is the end of November that shows Hackett beating DeWine but Brown behind DeWine, I predict that Brown will bow out of the race.
Seems to me that Sherrod will have ample opportunity to change his mind about running at least a dozen times between now and the end of November. That has been his M.O. for years now.
It’s either an accident or an unbelievably well-orchestrated plan, but Brown’s strange behavior, if it leads to his withdrawal, will end up making Hackett look stronger. IF it’s a Brown-Hackett-DNC plan, it’s brilliant; if it’s the product of true bumbling, it will work out well for Hackett anyway should Brown really withdraw. The thing about left blogs encouraging Hackett no to run (after Aug. 2, that SO bizarre) gives me the sense that it’s bumbling.

I think things are starting to look like that too.
