Democracy Guy is hearing that Ohio UAW is about to endorse Paul Hackett. This would be a major blow to Sherrod Brown. His base is labor.
Maybe this would explain Sherrod Brown hit man David Sirrota going postal today. I can see no logical reason for someone connected like Sherrod Brown who’s sitting on 2 mill to go so negative so fast otherwise.
Remember, this is all under the rumor category. I’ll believe it when I see it.

This jives with what was hinted to us last week. It is blockbuster for Hackett if its true - and it does explain why Brown went so negative and hard so fast.

David Sirota didn’t exactly “go postal,” but what he did do is inaccurately equate flip-flopping with backstabbing. The issue with Brown wasn’t that he simply changed his mind; it was that his change of heart held damaging consequences for the people with whom he had forged agreements. As Sirota states, changing one’s position on issues is not a bad thing in of itself. But screwing over those you make agreements with is always a bad thing in of itself.
PS: Are we really going to play the flip-flopping game again?
PPS: Why does Democracy Guy think that the UAW endorsement is bad for Hackett? Did I read his analysis incorrectly?

Ann, heh. DG is adrift. It’s gotta be hard on the guy when news comes out that Browns base is slipping away. His analysis was incoherent at best.
As for sirota, Wow what a way to blow your credibility and for what purpose ? I dont get why he is posting like 3 Brown posts a day, unless it is somehow co-ordinated. Does Sirota have some kind of history with Brown or something that might explain otherwise ?

I call it going postal because he’s using an ultra negative attack piece (semi automatic weapons) against someone on his side (coworkers) during a primary.
This is the kind of stuff I would expect from the DeWine camp. It’s begging us to retaliate against Brown. It’s suicidal.
I really don’t want to spend my days trying to destroy Sherrod Brown. This seems like an open invitation.
