From The National Journal Group’s The Hotline ($$$):
DEMOCRATS: SUN, FUN AND BLOGGING!
From a release, over 300 DNC members “from across the nation are scheduled to attend the DNC’s Fall Meeting,” 9/8-10, in Phoenix, AZ. DNC chair Howard Dean and ex-Cong. candidate Paul Hackett “will address the General Session” on 9/10. A sampling of the events: 9/9, 9am-5pm, Blogging USA; 9/9 Regional meetings; 9/10 8am-9am, Rural Council (release, 8/30).

Will he be discussing his pledge to return to Iraq with his unit?
Ya know Eric… you’re really cute. I think we should market an Ohio 2nd official Eric Minamyer plush toy.
Do I get a cut?
Maybe we could have a Hackett bobblehead night at the marine corps reserve center in DC.
Eric-
Get a life. Seriously. Your obsession with Paul Hackett is really very unhealthy, and there was never a “pledge” to return anywhere. it was said, but in the course of, you know, DAILY LIFE, and conversations with PEOPLE HE CARES ABOUT (like his family) maybe, just maybe, he would like to stay at home and be with them.
Point is, get a life and MOVE THE !$#@ ON!!!!!
I hope none of our service people return to Iraq. It’s obvious they are needed to rebuild this country. How do you think the 4000 LA National Guardsmen serving in Iraq now felt seeing their own people suffering, in want, hunger, and lawlessness while they are “bringing democracy” to a foreign land?
He said it more than once and with the intent to impress people with his dedication to the corps.
He also joined the 4th CAG to go where it went. They are counting on his shipping out with them, both as a lawyer and an officer. It is a matter of trust.
I left my family to serve as did thousands of others including my stepsons. The others in his unit have families too. The issue is can his unit trust him. Can we?
Eric, why don’t you ask them what they think? I’m betting the responses would be pretty interesting.
And BTW, yes, of course you would get a cut on any Eric Minamyer merchandise.
Didn’t I read somewhere today that the DNC’s fall meeting 9/8-10 is cancelled for now, or at least until Oct?
