From today’s Dayton Daily News:
The Midwest was the only region in the country in which income levels declined and poverty levels increased in 2004, according to new data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
The data, released Tuesday, showed that Ohio was one of only seven states in which the poverty rate increased last year, compared to 2003.(more…)
