The Akron Beacon Journal has the story.
I’ll confess to being of two minds about the political ramifications of the Taft decision. Bloggers on the left and the right are calling for Taft’s resignation. Linking Jean Schmidt to Bob Taft was a real winner for Hackett. Will the dead chicken of corruption be as easy to tie around Republican’s necks with Taft gone?

I’d rather have a neck to tie a chicken onto. More work needs to be done on the real scandal in Columbus, mainly why did did the adminstration allow hundreds of millions of dollars disappear from the Bureau of Workers Compensation? This happened during a period when the state has cracked down on claims for compensation and instituted strigent drug policies for contractor’s employees in order to qualify for state funded projects. The republician stance on compensatation seems to be tightening payouts in order to free up funds to be channeled back into thier campaigns. Now we need is the documentation.
