More Hackett Senate speculation from the right. The loose cannon mantra will be a big one as they try to tie the Dean Scream theme to him. The key thing is to not get all defensive about it. Once you play that suit you are committed. The important thing to remember Public Enemy’s advice: Don’t believe the hype. Eventually they’ll just come off as the whiners they are.

What I want is to have Paul arrive at Rush’s manse down in the sunny southern command and “invite” him to come with him back to Iraq for a month, without all the comforts I’m sure Rush is used to.
Can you just see Rush peeing his pants about that?
The 4th CAG is due to return to Iraq in a few months. Major Hackett said he would go with his unit.
If Rush also wants to go to Iraq (and I think he should), he can get there on his own. Why does Hackett have to go to Florida to “invite” him?
Iraq doesn’t have the comforts any of us is used to, except among the richer Iraqis. Why would Rush pee his pants anymore that our blogger Paul?
In a prior post, I mentioned that I heard that local conservative radio talk jock Andy Cunningham of 700 WLW here in Cincinnati not only talked about a Hackett Senate run, but even endorsed it and encouraged his listeners to vote for Hackett over DeWine.
Mr. Hackett deserves to take some time off and spend it with his family and his practice, especially if he is to return to Iraq. I wish him godspeed.
