The White House requested television time tonight to reassure Americans that political progress is being made in Iraq despite the unrelenting violence there and that it has specific plans to ensure military victory.

Paul Hackett is the first Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran to run for Congress, returning from Iraq on March 18th of the year, and he is the most credible person in the political arena to respond.

Yesterday CNN interviewed Paul, and earlier today the piece played on “Inside Politics”. Although the airing is unconfirmed, we expect some part of Paul’s interview to follow the President’s remarks at 8:00pm EST on CNN.
