BizzyBlog has up a nice roundup of all his work on Bouncing Bob McEwen. Former Congressman McEwen (that’s how you say it Bobbie boy) could take a few of the front runners down with him as he flames out. The man has a lot of powerful lobbyist friends dumping cash in this brawl, but it seems to consist entirely of negative energy. (Man… wouldn’t it be great if us Democrats had some beltway backup here in Ohio? Serving the Sith does have its perks.)
The big question is who does this benefit most? Brinkman is an obvious choice. I was thinking of Schmidt until they started nailing her with the dreaded T word. Boy, they must want their boy McEwen back on the Federal dole bad to run that one.
I would say the Democrats, but Hackett and Wulsin are both ramping up good. That means that they could very well split the people paying attention vote leaving Sanders to pick up the nod based purely on name recognition. Maybe I was wrong chiding Sanders for doing almost nothing on this run, not even updating his web site since the last run. Maybe this is all a part of his master plan. Seems to be working so far.
Since he has ZERO chance of winning in the general, what other purpose would be served in him staying in the race besides insuring a Republican victory?
UPDATE: BizzyBlog has been busy with a thread over @ Free Republic.
